Former MLA Dana Skoropad & Students from Vanier Collegiate

Hon. Tim McLeod: — Well thank you very much, Mr. Speaker. It is a great pleasure for me to welcome back to this Assembly a very dear friend and the best-dressed MLA [Member of the Legislative Assembly] in the history of the Assembly, Mr. Speaker, Dana Skoropad, our dear friend and former colleague. This is the man who put the “D” in armed river, Mr. Speaker.

Joining Mr. Skoropad is the principal of Vanier Collegiate in Moose Jaw, Kelvin Turberfield. And we also have joining us 15 grade 12 students and 14 grade 10 students from Vanier Collegiate. So thank you very much for bringing these young folks to the Assembly. I look forward to an opportunity to chat later. And I would ask all members to please join me in welcoming these fine folks from Moose Jaw to this, their Legislative Assembly.
