Students from Peacock Collegiate

Hon. Mr. McLeod: — Thank you, Mr. Speaker. To you and through you, it gives me great pleasure to introduce 34 grade 12 students from Peacock Collegiate in Moose Jaw seated in the west gallery. They’re here today with their teacher Carrie Kiefer.

Mr. Speaker, when each of us is out door knocking and campaigning, we have the rare occasion to find an individual on the doorstep who is truly engaged and challenges us with some difficult questions. Ms. Kiefer was that person for me, Mr. Speaker. And I don’t know how long I spent on Ms. Kiefer’s doorstep, but it could have been all day. I enjoyed the conversation and the difficult questions, and I expect nothing less from her students later after question period today.

So if all members could please join me in welcoming these students and Ms. Kiefer to their Legislative Assembly.
