Saskatchewan Lawyers Recognized with Queen’s Counsel Designation

Mr. McLeod: — Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Each year, recommendations are put forward to recognize Saskatchewan lawyers for their contributions to the legal profession and public service with the Queen’s Counsel or Q.C. designation. On behalf of the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General, I’m honoured today to recognize 20 Saskatchewan lawyers who have worked diligently to earn this distinction.

The 2021 Queen’s Counsel appointments are as follows: Andrea Argue, Catherine Benning, Wayne Bernakevitch, David Bishop, Roderick Crook, Kaylea Dunn, James Garden, Kara Dawn Jordan, Randall Klein, Stephen Kritzer, Reche McKeague, Ronald Miller, Robert Nicolay, Crystal Norbeck, Ronald Parchomchuk, Wayne Pederson, Sean Quinn, Catherine Thompson, Raymond Wiebe, and Kurtis Wintermute.

Mr. Speaker, the recipients were recognized at the Queen’s Counsel ceremony last Friday together with their family and friends. I now ask all members to join me in congratulating and thanking these leaders in the legal community for their service to the profession and for the contributions they have made to our communities, our justice system, and the people of this province. Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
